Can I log into the frankly app with biometric authentication?
Yes, it’s easy to log into the frankly app using biometric authentication (e.g. with a fingerprint or face recognition). You can activate this function directly in the app, meaning that you can log in even faster and more securely. You can still enter your password as an alternative if you prefer.

- To activate biometric authentication in the frankly app, first go to your profile by tapping on the head icon in the top right-hand corner.
- Click on “Settings”. You can activate biometrics in the settings under “Security”. (Info: no success notification then follows).
- The next time you log in, you will be asked whether the frankly app is allowed to use Face ID. Then select “Allow”. Your face will be scanned and Face ID will be activated. (If you select “Do not allow”, Face ID will remain deactivated.)
Important: To be able to use biometric authentication for the frankly app, you must allow it in the iOS settings of the device.

- To activate biometric authentication on an Android device, likewise go to your profile by tapping on the head icon in the top right-hand corner.
